Awesome, can you imagine being at the level were your skill demanded that kind of kit? With that skill would come the lolly, and with the lolly would come the camera.
I hope one day I can get to a level where it isnt a distant dream, but more of a potential goal.
Would be amazing.

Well mate, this is being quite honest here, from looking at the quality of your photography and how you are always improving and pushing yourself, I personally think your already at a level (and have been for ages) where you could utilise any camera creatively and artistically.
Im not convinced that something like this new hassleblad is necessary to produce great photography though, just gimme a D3 with three top lenses covering 12mm to 200mm and I'm a happie chappie :naughty:

The new digital back is not so important. What is of more importance and will have a much bigger impact for Hassi will be the Tilt Shift adaptor.

There was an interctive demo on the Hasselblad site a while back (not sure if it's still there) of the image quality of the "old" model where you could zoom right in on a picture and the detail was truly amazing. Honestly, the IQ made anything a D3 could produce look like a box brownie
That one was "only" 39MP, can you imagine what a 6132x8176 pixel image from the 50MP one will be like?

Ah damn.
I just want it because it's expensive!
I don't even know how it all works. It took me long enough to figure out all about digital SLRs, not all this medium format digital malarcky!

If I had the sort of money that this digital back cost , never mind the camera and lenses that go with it, I wouldn't spend it on bl**dy photography! I know they say " art for arts sake" but you could get a big dirty blond, and a yacht cheaper.
