I'm sure any one of them will be okay. I got an el cheapo wired shutter release for my 40D and although the build quality is world class the thing works and was a fraction of the price of the official model. I was out the other night taking bulb exposures and it was fine.

Go for it, I'm sure you wont be disappointed.

You can get a real Nikon ML-L3 for about a tenner, delivered. Ask Kerso, I'm sure he'll have them.

Failing that, do you have an old tv remote lying about? That'll do the job too ;)

About £16 from Jessops, £15 from Calumet, £13 + delivery from Amazon

If you do a search on this forum you'll find kerso's email address, or someone who knows will probably post it here for you in a wee while :)

I have this one "Nikon Genuine ML-L3 Remote For D40" and it arrived really quick from amazon and works great - better than what I had heard really!
