I read mention of buying from Amazon.com rather than the UK site, I always thought they would not ship to the Uk.
Are there any problems buying from the .com site.

When I wanted to buy a text book, .com would not ship to a UK address. This meant I had to pay twice as much for the book I wanted..grrr

I used to use .com for stuff all the time - but only stuff not sold on .co.uk. I havent done this for a while though.

Most DVD players can be unlocked to be multi region by simply putting a code in via the remote and adjusting the system settings. Google it, and I bet you can make your region 1 dvd player multi region!! :D
