Not bad at all, I would be happy with these :)
Do the B+G like them? And what a lovely dress! :)
:agree: with betty.
I would be happy with them....
I'm not sure about the focus choice in number 3. It is a cracking photo as it is but would love to see it the other way round.
That said, well done for your first try!

They look good for the most part, well framed and sharp.
I have a question on the last one where they are cutting the cake.
The brighter spot on the ceiling makes me think you bounced the flash. At what angle? Did you use a diffuser of any kind?
The reason I ask is there are some deep shadows around the eyes, under the cheeks and chin. You also lost some detail in the dark colors of his jacket.
I am trying to learn to recognize these situations.

Something like..... This?

Yes the flash was bounced, this shot is my least favourite of the whole series I have posted, I realise now that taking the stofen diffuser off the flash and bouncing it straight up rather than forward a bit might have been a better option.
The bride and groom like the photos!
Thanks for the nice comments so far.

Nice set of photos. I prefer #1 and #2 as they are different with an absence of people.
Yes very nice for your first time, i would be happy with these, nice colours and for the most nice and sharp, the only ones i'm not keen on are 1 the shoes, kind of reminds me of shoes on display at a shoe shop, and 9 the cake with garfield, but otherwise the others are very nice
I enjoyed looking at these shots. Beautiful blue sky. I even liked what you did with No.3, i'd probably done the same.:).
General question for anyone: With regard the cake cutting photo. What would have been the best course of action to reduce the shadows under the eyes. Bounced of the ceiling with a diffuser? Straight on with a diffuser? Change the bounce angle?
I'm guessing straight on without diffuser would cast quite noticable background shadows.
For the most part i like them, but as a ever with wedding photos if the bride and groom are happy you should be happy. Sam
In the photo's of the bridge... is that from north or south queensferry? Im guessing north but im not 100% sure.
Pretty sure it's North Queensferry.
Nice first go! Really crisp shots, well done.

Real nice shots! Really like the first 2 as they are such "different" shots. Well done
Is it me, or doess the bride (in some shots mainly no.4) look like Michael Schumacher with long hair? :p
For comparison http://www.zcars.com.au/images/michael-schumacher12.jpg

Sorry I lost track of this thread guys.
I see the comparison with Michael Schumacher though I don't think I'll draw that to her attention lol
Its from the North Queensferry Hotel.
Bulletraptor: It would be good if it was some fancy PP wouldn't it, but it's 2 different shots. I guess it could be done in PP though. If you had a shot with a really extended DOF where both the people and the car were in focus you could have added selected blur.
