exif is intact folks. Stood about 2 metres away and bounced a 580exII with diffuser off a 9 ft ceiling. Sigma 24-70mm 2.8 ex.

Great photo but I find the background a bit distracting. The colours in the background are a bit similar to the subject a cracking well exposed and focused portrait though.

It is a great take, :thumbs: have to agree the background could be toned down a degree, apart from that, a good clear shot. :)

Thanks for the replies.

About the background and the rugby shirt, one was a birthday present so it had to be in the shot.

I knew there would be a clash but I only had 2 minutes to take it and now I may try and PP the cutains colours.
