The first one is awesome. A little contrast, some saturation (just a bit) and it would really pop.

The second one, I stuck it in PS and just did a CTRL+J, set to 'Screen', adjusted to 70% opacity and that lightened it up just enough.

Both really great shots though!

The first would have been a great shot but it is out of focus, I guess caused by a slow shutter speed. I don't think any amount of Photo-Shop will help it.

The second is much better, both dogs are in focus with good detail showing in the fur.
Its let down slightly by the basket rim being bleached out, try under exposing by 1/3 or 1/2 stop or even more then bringing the levels up in Photo-Shop.

thanks pipa my sister is here and loves it, thats great.
i will print her a copy off as he has to be sold! she has 6 cavs as it is.
