Hi, I have just found this forum this evening. It prompted me to get regstered and upload some pictures.

I would call my photogaphy a paid hobby, over the last couple of years I have done 5 or 6 weddings and maybe 20ish portrait shoots. I have much still to learn, but so far it has all been word of mouth and I have sold enough from each shoot to be happy, which means I must be doing something right.

The reason for this post is that apart from people buying my pictures I have never put them up for scrutiny by my peers. I may regret this tomorrow, but heyho!:bonk:

So here is a small random selection, all comments welcome.

My favourite is #2, I'm a sucker for a pretty face which is well shot, as this one is. There's plenty of character in her expression. I also like #4 apart form that balustrade (?) in the backgroound, the red/ no red technique works for me.

Welcome.

No. 1 for me; but all are well composed. Agree that the shot of the two young boys is a bit oof.
