took these photos at the back of the town in falmouth. There is a car park behind the shops that over looks the estuary. i was going out to take some landscapes, but there was thick fog, so i thought i would try the boats.

Some nice shots there, quite like the 3rd - can imagine the silence now :)

Must have been a nightmare to meter your exposures.

Yeah it was pretty quite...

Apart from the seagulls attacking the big right next to me in the 3rd shot:suspect:
exposure wise was more luck than judgment really. i used the partial meter and zoomed in on the boats and took that reading (i just have the camera meter). then set it to manual and used that. Once i messed around with the settings for a bit to get it right i managed to use the same ones for all the pics.

Deja vu ... ?

I am sure I posted on this thread earlier ... heaven knows what happened ! :thinking:

Anyway ... I believe I said words to the effect;

Great set of shots, well seen and taken Lumpster .. 'cept not too sure of the effect looking at the last one ... weird ! :eek:

They are excellent pics and it would be hard to pick a fave from them .. TFS
