Sunflower

Whilst out walking this morning I saw a whole row of sunflowers. This was the only one that was flowering and even this one was not in full bloom.

I thought it looked good against a blue sky:

Very good, a very effective simple composition with vivid colours. I think the image would also work well without the clouds.
