View Full Version : Bee on clover.
Taken today with the 70-200 2.8 @ 200 handheld, quite chuffed with them, they have had a crop though.

You have captured a difficult subject well but I think you still need to crop tighter if your resolution allows. If they have already received a crop, then perhaps you need to be brave and get nearer (I couldn't - I'm scared of the darned things).
Oh and how did you find sunshine in Kendal - I used to live in Winermere and it seemed like it was always raining!

Yes I could crop tighter but that kind of loses the point of the shot, a bee on clover in its natural surroundings going about its business.
Sadly nearer was not an option due to minimum focus distance of the lens.
I think #3 is great. Composition, colour, DoF and the capture of an insect on the wing. Great set of something that's hard to capture.

Number 3 ???? I can only see two, and although they are great, I have been left thinking I'm missing out on something now! :(
