I had a wee wander around Chester today, even though I've lived here for years, it's the first time I've actually bothered to record some of the sights around the city center.......YES that means I used my camera :eek:

My god! so you actually found where you'd left the 5D then!!!! :eek:

I know this is well out of your comfort zone, so I think you have done very well here hun.
I like the saturated colours in #2 .... but how the hell did you get to be in #3 ;)

I think you should get out with the cam a little more, Chester certainly looks worthy of your time :thumbs:

I did find it and I broke the 1000 actuations barrier too......not bad in a year and a bit :D

The lil lad was fun tbh, I was wearing my Black Liverpool top, so he thought he was coooooool, just like me :D

The guy taking the pic of them got chatting to me....he's just bought the camera he was using ........now he wants a DSLR instead of a bridge camera........:eek:

there was something called an earth festival in the local park.......I had no idea about it.....frightened all the squirrels off it did :(

only 2 is from that, the others are in the town center

my god congratulations for not taking pictures of the walls. im there almost every weekend and it drives me crazy, you cant move due to the fact tourists are standing in lines taking pictures of truly terrible state of the art digital cameras.

I don't normally go onto the walls for that reason tbh.....and if i'm walking into town now I have to use other routes as the part of the walls which was a handy short cut is currently closed off for repair.

went to chester zoo a few weeks back and saw the metal sculpture figures in the middle of a roundabout as you enter chester.
what are they of and could you do a photo of them please.

I think the statues you've seen are down by safeway on Liverpool road. Iirc they were some kind of circus performers, I don't get over that way much..... But you never know :D
