Ok, its not the gym but my garage, the gym is brighter and nicer and that was not the effect I was looking for!

Spent a happy afternoon in the garage with my boxing handwraps and one 60w lightbulb and this is the result!:

You are exploring some interesting effects here but I find the light source too harsh? But its great to see some shots where someone is 'thinking outside of the box'. Look forward to you posting some more.

Thanks for the reply, I was purposely steering away from the "rules" of eye contact and correct exposure, was looking for that dirty backstreet gym look, maybe I have gone too far!?!?

I like the feel of the shots, the atmosphere is good but the fact that the wall is in focus and not the figure i find annoying/distracting and spoils the shots for me.
