Hi John
I love the passion flower #4 - good colours and you've caught the intricate construction of the flower well. I'm not sure what the hairy flowers are but the way the light catches them is lovely - especially #2. If I'm being really picky I'd have taken out the thread of spider's web (in ps - I wouldn't have wrecked the spider's home!). Is #5 a petunia? I love the little pile of pollen on the lower petals - it looks as though a bee has carelessly dropped it!
As for #6 - yep, that's definitely a summer's evening in the garden - cheers.:D
Jean
Oops - meant to say the orange bug on the blue post looks exotic - mediterranean, hot sun, lazy days.
Very nice set there John, and a cool way to spend your evening me thinks. :D
I love the back-lighting in #2.
I think #5 & #6 are my faves though ....
#5 for the fabulous composition, and #6 because,
well I dont know how to describe it really, as a subject shot like that wouldnt normally have any particular appeal for me,
yet for some reason this one just leaps out at me ... and invites me in.

Very nice series of images, I think my picks would be 1,2 and 6.

Thanks for the kind comments folks - there are 3 subtle HDRs in this set btw - 2, 3 and 6
Maybe its that factor in 6 that draws you in Glo - or is it just the thought of a nice drop of red :)
Wow John impressive stuff as ever the plant with the black background really stands out
Great set John, I really like 4 and 6.

Like the wine shot, nice and crisp (don't know if the wine is though! :gag:)
I'm liking the backlit Petunia too ( No2 ;))
