How do you crop to 100%? Without re-sizing the image? Also how do you reduce pixels as per forum rules?

Cropping to 100%?:thinking: That doesn't make sense.
To reduce the image size depends on what software you are using. You need to make the longest side 800px or smaller.

People always talk about 100% cropping was just wondering how you achieve this without just re-sizing the image!
resizing alters the image.
A 100% crop is just a section of the original master image and is still viewed at full size. No processing is done to the image. Rather than posting a 3800 x 2800 image, maybe only a 400 pixel square section is shown.

What software you using? Its basically select area, cut and paste into a new document

Using CS3 extended on Mac.
or just select an area and use the crop tool.
