i put these together for a photobook I was doing for my family.

its was Lucy's 18th she had complications at birth so has some disabilities and noone expected her to reach 18.

the edits may not be to everyones tastes but I liked them.

the texture dosnt show up at this size as much as I would have liked.

Nothing wrong with those :)

I cant read the writing though, wee bit too small. For me at least :)

#1 is brilliant. It captures heart felt emotion so we can feel it. I like the presentation of the photo as well.

Really is good work here Carl, both are excellent.

I really like the PP on no, 1, it really suits the mood and emotion of the shot, stunning!

I do hope I got this right:

I look deep into my heart & found
an empty space, I then look upon
the world and saw your pretty face,
I never knew a girl could be so kind,
and every night I would dream that
maybe one day you will be fine.

I dream about you every night &
I would wakeup holding my pillow light,
I would look around and you would not be there,
I would close my eyes & imagine you were there
and I would shed a tear
and when I opened them you would
disappear.

I think they are powerful photos. Certainly, they are well executed. Its obvious that Lucy has a disability of some sort (although precisely what isn't apparent - and I'm not asking). With photos like these, I think only you know whether they do her justice or not.

But, there's nothing wrong with your technique - well done.

Wonderful idea of the photobook, and great pictures

#1 is very emotive, and I really like the way you've presented #2 with the poem.
