Hey all, im Luke Woodford.

Im 23 and im from Eastbourne. Ive only just started to get really into photography and im keen to start up my own business. I have been an Ebay seller for the last 3 years but recently had my account hacked so decided to take a new direction.

I have invested some of my money in a Nikon D300 with a 18-200mm lens. I know this isnt a begginners camera but as i have money and lots of time on my hands i can learn and thats exactly what im doing. Also i dont want to have to upgrade too soon.

I will be doing all kinds of photography, mainly people though. Going round their houses and taking pictures of mothers and babies, girls and guys who want some good pictures taking. I already know a couple of people who do this but they dont do a very good job. Id like to end up taking wedding photos but who knows where this journey will take me. I may have high hopes but i started on Ebay with £70 and did extremly well. Im not trying to boast i just want to be taken seriously- not just another person thats bought a D300 without knowing much.

Im also going to college in september to study digital printing and a digital photography course.

I look forward to talking to lots of you and learning alot from you. I have alot to learn!

Good luck with your endeavour. You have confidence which is good. Keep at it. You sound like you will be a success in a couple of years. This is a great place to learn with friendly people and sound advice.
