Has anyone gone through the laborious task of creating a custom ACR profile for use in Lightroom and Photoshop or even bought one of the many 'off the peg' profiles available out there?
I hadn't really thought about this whole issue until today when I inadvertantly stumbled across thread on another forum discussing it. A quick read of the thread prompted me to look into it a little more and after a little investigation I realised I'd managed to open up yet another can of worms.
I can understand the reasons behind the theory, but not necessarily the practice. Anyone had any experience of colour-profiling their camera? Or have you never come across this whole process before and, like me, wonder what it's all about?
Oh, and I guess I'd best say hello as I'm a horrible newcomer. Hello!
