i have been asked to take photos for a website and have been asked to give a quote.

what do i need to put on the document and how do i word it??

Having not had to do a photography quote, but have had to quote for other jobs, my suggestion would be to:-

• include the job description you have been given - preferably in their words

• define how you propose to carry out the job

• costings, broken down possibly if necessary (travel / photoshoot / post processing)

Plus things like standard terms & conditions aka 'the small print' which would include things like copyright, licensing, cancellation terms (both ways), payment procedure, disputes & resolution
