I saw some free images of motor parts and machinery on an image library, and they sparked a bit of creativity. Grabbing the ol' son and heir and paying him to pose for me (geez, is nothing free nowadays!) this is the result.

I also used a head on shot of a camera lens for his eyes.

It might not be to everyones taste, but I would appreciate your comments please.

Needs to look a little more realistic where the skin meets the machinery..
But thats a forced crit..
To me it's a refreshingly different image and done with some skill.

Morning BB,

Well this is only the 2nd pic of yours I've seen and if anything I like it more than the guitar one. Its creative, clever and skillful. My only comment, and like Trev's its a forced one, is that to my taste its a little dark top left, but what do I know. :thinking:

Really good idea. This needs to be done in layers with the mechanical bits below the flesh bits to get the shadows looking convincing and coming from only one direction as they should.

I'd certainly like to see you pursuing this idea. :thumbs:

My son made a comment about wanting to change his phone (again :bang:) and the conversation went down the route of "wouldn't it be easier if we all had a phone embeded..."
