I know these aren't great, but they are the best I came away with and I'll have to live with them.

If someone knows what I did wrong then please tell me. No. 3 is particularly dissapointing as the rays coming up were really quite something.

The night of Summer Solstice they opened up the Furnicular railway to everyone and it was free. The views of the sun setting over the mountains were wonderful but very difficult to capture and do them justice.

Great set. I prefer #3 for the composition and colours. I was going to pick #1 until that cable car got in the way.

#2 for me - love the subtle pastel tones

No 2 is the best (apart from the wire at the left) but all need brightened a bit, I'd mess about in PP to see what happens. No 3 has a distracting tree at the bottom left.

But not as intrusive as the cable car tower in #1.

You're being over-critical of yourself, I think they're great! A crop and a bit of post production on the last one, and it'll be a cracker. :)

No.3 for me, however the sky looks noisy, which can easily be improved in pp
