Rose

Nowt special this ... just thought I'd stick it in to see what the masses make of it.

T'was the wife's birthday this week - got her some flowers, in which this nice rose was included.

Not had too much done to it - tweaked colour slightly, added border and sharpened.

Thoughts and comments appreciated as always.

Hi folkies.

Thank you all very much for the nice comments. This shot was taken using my Sigma 17-70 lens and a 20mm extension tube.

Got it displayed on full screen here and liking it more and more - as does my wife - you're right, it is a nice reminder!!! (Although the smel of nice flowers in the house, helps too!).

It looks like "Blue Moon" one of the stronger scented roses, I have them in my garden.

Nicely taken, it would look good as one of those arty canvases.
