I've been playing with stitching panaromics together, something i haven't played with since my 1st ixus camera, all 2mp of it!!
These are taken from The Cairnwell above the ski runs. The 1st one looks west. I now some people may not like the fact that my girlfriend is in the shot, but thats my own personal thing. I do think i could have done with more foreground in the middle of the photo:thinking:

The 2nd is looking east. I did think about lightening the right side of the photo, but decided to leave it:

The 3rd is the Forth Bridge(don't think it really needed an intro) 4 photos stitched. I've rotated it a couple of degrees, which means it a bit of a tight crop over the right hand span:| Played with the brightness and curves a little as it was a dull day.

All of the above were taken with Nikon D80 and Sigma 24-70mm 2.8

The final one is from Morrone above Braemar taken using my Fuji E900 compact in Jpeg mode:| Its taken a lot of processing after the stitching to get this, as the colours were very pale/washed out. The sky was poor, almost non existant with some of the processing, so had to be rescued. Still not sure on this:thinking:

Your thoughts on these please and advice for future shot taking and processing would be appreciated:thumbs:

Thank you for sharing P20.

I think 1 2 and 4 look fantastic but the bridge is a bit out of focus and doesn't seem to line up but besides that they look, well amazing.

I'm not normally a fan of people in landscape shots but number 1 pips the rest for me. The fact she is at the edge of a wide frame helps her not dominate the image, but she gives a lead in to the rest of the picture.

For me, number 2 lacks that lead in

Well done with them all - I've tried to do many stitches, and always failed . . . .
The first one is terrific - the inclusion of a person leads the eye into the shot perfectly . . .
