And a jolly nice one too. Very steamy. What about a slight crop to get rid of whatever is on the right hand edge? You won't lose a lot even if you use the same 4x6 as the original.

Great shot but to be critical something is not right, the angle of the picture is wrong I think, I find myself tilting my head to try and straighten the image.

Agree about the crop and the angle.

It's a great capture of a steam train, it captures the essence of the trains beautifully, just needs very slight tweaks.

Is that East Lancs Railway? Well worth a visit on one of their special event weekends, plenty of engines to be seen!

Also, a great spot for photos is further down the line at Burrs Country Park (there's a pub near the caravan park, and a footpath that crosses the line which is a great place)

Well, I like it, Besides, if that photo had been taken at ground level, the loco would be completely obscured in a cloud of smoke and steam!
But I do have one slight quibble, is it me or it appears as a bit dark (unless it's my monitor playing tricks on me). Looks like the picture had been taken during very overcast conditions, I would've tweaked up the brightness just a shade.
But the railway buff in me is saying "Yes, I like that one". I could hear the hissing and puffing from here. Nice work. :)
