I wont be able to get as close then :( All well, still have a crack.
The bikes dont fill the frame Matt, they are cropped in, so dont worry your 300 will be fine..
But cars are bigger than bikes ...
Great set of shots Lev67. All are good, but like the one with the clear visor, as you can see his eyes.

Oh yes they would, they're loons they are !!
Nice series of shots there fella. Well done !!
They're damn good.... Especially #4 - there's something special about seeing the riders eyes through the visor, and getting the bike in focus too - Good work !
Steve
Great set of shots, and I agree about no 4. The eyes leapt out at me through the clear visor.

as a bike racing fan, who has trouble getting there nowadays, these are great to see, all superb photos too, and will agree the one where you can see the riders eyes is the best.
1 and 3 look a little soft compared to the other shots posted
Look into my eyes - good catch
#2 Hudson Kenner is it? is superb
Nice shots :)
Any tips for good locations at OultOn?? I'm at the BTCC all weekend camping with Mrs Kingy and its one track I've never been to before.
Cheers.

Depends on lens, but if you can cover from 70mm upto 400mm then anywhere can give a good shot for cars.

Inside of Druids is my new fave, should get away with a nifty fifty there with cars, if you get tight to the fence as far anti-clock as you can get, in the dip after Lodge, either inside or outside should net pretty good results aswell, some good clean new barriers at the exit to Druids aswell so nice clean pan to be had, from the inside viewing area.
Yes great shots, composition and exposure work well. You've done this before.
