Took this shot whilst out on a wander yesterday afternoon, it almost got binned as it didn't do anything for me, until I noticed it was my 9000th photo taken with the camera, so I thought instead of binning it i'd have a tinkle in photoshop and see what I could come up with.

Gave it a contrast tweak, a foreground lighten, a background/sky darken, and some dodge and burn here and there around the sky. I'm not really into doctoring my photos, but it's not completely different from the original as it was rather overcast, it's just darker and moodier.

C&C welcome as always.

Nice vibrant colouring and I like what you've done to the sky, yes very moody.

Cheers boss. Wasn't sure if i'd killed it or not, but I suppose you can't kill something that would have been binned anyway eh.

I have played there many times. It is not the best (cricket ground) but hey hoo.

As for the shot you probably need something in the foreground to add perspective or reduce/crop the foreground.

Hope you do not mind.

Well worth tinkering with LM :) 9000th photo or not.

Nice atmospheric shot. I prefer the croped version though I'm not sure if I would have done any more than get rid of the rather untidy boundry rope and the bit in the BLC
:)

Cheers fella. Gunna give it a crop similar to above, just with a bit more of the grass.

Took Tylers constructive critisism, aswell as Toon's, and cropped the image just above the boundry rope, aswell as adding a slightly move appealing boarder.
