Hi All,

Against my better judgement it was decided that my family and I and some friends would have a go at rock climbing.:cuckoo: So, on Sunday of we went to the Roaches in Staffordshire.
It was a great day out, surprisingly to me, and we all really enjoyed it.
Today however I canot move, even my eyebrows ache. Still here are a few shots from the day.

As usual all C & C's welcome and actively encouraged :D

And finally, yours truly looking worried by the fact that I'm only being held in place by gravity and a thin rope :gag:

Like 1 and 2 but 1 appears to be perhaps a little to green.

Would like to see 2 in black and white with the clouds darkened.

OK PsiFox here it is. But I'm not sure how to get the clouds darker than this.
I've converted it but then I'm afraid I'm stuck. Still a beginner in PS6 so any help on that score would be appreciated.

Can anyone tell me how to rescue the clouds from this b & w conversion please? I'm using PS Elements 6.

Thanks Andy

I'm afraid the clouds are well and truely burnt out in the original colour version with no detail to be rescued, unless you shot in RAW format for your camera, then there may be a little more headroom.

I can't make my mind up which I prefer: #1 with its very green fields or the worried look on your face. I might just go for the latter.

How does that look? Just adjusted the lighting on Elements 6 ;)

Like people have already said, too much light intake, needed to be a quicker shutter on it ;) RAW is the way forward for this image my friend

I have started shooting more in RAW but I only had a 2gig card with me and I knew I would take too many so I shot in JPEG to make more room. Doh!
I quite like your version Tweedie, it looks brooding.

And yes, that was a worried look, seconds after this I spun round, smashed into the rock face and 2 climbers on the other side of the hill were catapulted to the ground. Ouch.

Glad to see you had some suitably coloured trousers on ;)

I quite like the patterns in the rock formations in 2 and 3. 3 would've been best without the peeps though.
