You'd only need to defrag it if you were to use in on a Microsoft OS, Unix based systems write data differently and don't require defragging ;)

I'm having trouble enough just choosing a 100 Gb lappy !?! Or 60 or 80 ... or even 125 ... and then there's the manufacturers, screens, processors, RAM, weight, colour, etc., ad inf !
