I am hoping that's a hill in the background. The single leaf is a great image - simple and effective. Great shot.

Thats a good silhouette but their seems to be some sensor dust at the top of the picture (or is it my dirty screen? :lol:)

Because if it is flat land then there's a very large slope from one side to the other. I know it is a lovely shot and I like what MD does, that doesn't mean that I can't question something that looks odd to me.

I must admit that I hadn't spotted that. I've never used the cloud lines as a guide for a true level. I'll bear it in mind for future images.

but to be fair..... it was hand held:suspect: i know i had the tripod with me as well..

i was aiming for a simple yet nice shot..

Excellent shot, something I have to try myself. Looks like there's a lot of dust on the sensor though.

Oddly, a spirit level is still one of the last things that I use to value art. :D

it's a really ace shot, which for what it's worth, looked plum straight to me as the fern and all the grass is on the vertical.

hey, just because I said it's not important to me doesn't mean I don't notice. ;)
