well i've finally gone and ordered my first DSLR after much sweettalking of the missus, heres what i'm getting....

Canon EOS-30D with Canon EF-S 17-85, Sandisk Extreme III 2GB CF, Canon 60mm 2.8 macro, battery grip and extra battery, velbon ultra maxi f tripod, remote switch.

should keep me amused for a while..
