These are my first attempts at cycle race pics - even though they are only doing @ 25 mph, in the poor lighting I found they were hard to get right. These and a 'few others' were taken at F4 (max for my lens 70-300), but only @ 1/80th sec at a F/L of 100mm. Ideally I would like to have been able to take them at F8 + 1/160th + .....or maybe should have used my shorter 17-55 lens, get a bit closer and some flash?? .........
