Bee and Damselfly's

Went on a mission to practice with the macro lens. Boy it takes a good bit of patience and rocking back and forward (if people are watching they probaby think your an escaped nutter!!!) I was after Dragons, but the buggers never settled within range. But got a nice selection of damsels and other things.

1. Bee - I like this because the wings are just a faint blur.

2. A female blue damsel I believe, if anybody knows better please tell me.

Had a similar mission myself this morning. Damsels and Dragons.
#1. Yea, love that movement captured in the wings :thumbs:
#2. Female Common Blue; great close up.
#3. Almost the full tandem. Good capture. :thumbs: Makes you wonder how they manage to fly like that :thinking:
#4. Certainly looks like a Blue-tailed Damselfly. Got the head nice an sharp.
Great set. I'd be happy with them. :)
