View Full Version : The Lonely Leaf
I think I'm going insane. My thoughts:
1. Get A2 sheet of white card out from cupboard
2. Pierce small hole with a paperclip into white card
3. Stick leaf into hole
4. Stick camera on 15sec exposure, f9, iso100, with no flash
5. Wait for shot to develop

Sometimes I do worry about me  I could have been out doing something constructive rather than sticking holes in cardboard.
Help,
Neil.

What a great idea - love the clinical feel to it. Gonna get me some white card and paperclips...

Haha very cleverly done and it looks good! I wonder if the image would benefit from a frame..?
Certainly not 15 minutes of your life wasted, excellent result!
Thanks folks. I've made an appointment with the shrink for tomorrow at 2:30pm. Wish me luck ;)
The leaf's kept falling off a plant I had in my study, so grabbed a small flower from the garden and had another play. Not quite the same effect as the first, but practice makes perfect!

I'm with the lady on this one. I really like the slight reflection from the paper. Very effective.

Shows what fantastic results you can get with just a white background, not that yours isn't already!

Also have a look around the main website, it is amazing, the featured photographer section updated once a week on a Friday is my favourite bit :)
