Hi all just got one from jessops + Hoya 52mm UV filter £86 pounds very pleased, yes i know you can get them off E-Bay, and though other sources but together with the filter not a bad deal me thinks, last one in shop they go like wild fire, portrait + macro all in one.
Regards Mark.

Great little lens, the best £60 I've spent so far!! :)
it take it you are either reversing a lens for macro or using extension tubes as its not a macro lens

Hi yes reversing ring, think it's the safer way to avoid dust , i have heard that dust can enter this lens through the manual focus as it works a bit loose over the year, its better to sell on e-bay a year later and buy a new one with the proceeds of the old. what do you think??
never heard of that issue!
Mine will be upgraded to the f/1.4 version soon. just for the better build quality, USM and also the extra low light capabilities will be nice.
