Oh and what is happening while these shots are being taken !!!! lolhttp://www.cookster.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10002/dave_tern.jpg
Very stark looking. Good though :)
I wonder if that first one could do with some exposure compensation? It looks a bit dark? I guess thats so as not to blow out the white feathers?
No. 2 is a great capture!
LOL. Great shots Ian. Makes me wish I'd gone now.
Me too. Always fancied a trip to Lindisfarne, myself. Been past it dozens of times without realising where it was.
I like the lighthouse pic. Something eerie about it....
Thanks for the comments guys :)

Good shots. What processing have you used in #2? I really like it, just a shame the bird wasn't making eye contact with you.
Thanks for the comments guys :)

Good shots Ian. I must agree with minimeeze that second shot is really very rewarding.
The more I look at it the more I love it. I don't really know what I’m talking about, but that’s a seller I recon. :D

Would you believe its down to an accident ! LOL
I left the Polariser on and used the flash, other than levels and a little sharpen and crop theres no special processing on the tern shot !
Thanks for the comments ! :)
