Down at Heaton Park yesterday there was the annual 'Cancer Research UK Race For Life' and I went down with Bod to get some shots of the day. There's also another two races today for it, but i wasn't able to go to the race today. Well, here's a few of my favourite shots from the day...

They're not that bad are they? :p

On a nice day you are not going to get many comments until the evening now are you :)

You have captured the happy mood pretty well I'd say - looks like they are having fun.

Not sure about the bright circles in the bokeh on two of them. is that the 50mm 1.8?
I won't bother with the gallery cos I know your simpleviewer doesn't work for me :(

Like I said to you on MSN, you've got some cracking shots there.
Kudos on having the cojones to be cheeky enough to walk inside the barriers to get the best advantage points and getting infront of the crowds.

The circley bits of bokeh, is a wierd one. I think they're just down to misfortunate background, as I know that nifty can produce some real creamy bokeh.

I like the shot of the blowup start line with the baloons. I tried a similar shot and blew it :(

Same with that little nipper. You captured it at just the right time, as IIRC he didn't hold that smiley pose for long :p
