Whitby Sunrise

Went to Whitby with fingerz, milou and several others from Trickery at the weekend. This is one of my shots (click to enlarge)....

i like it, its uncluttered and simple.

how do you manage to get up for sunrise? i have enough problems getting up for work, let alone 3 hours earlier! :shrug:

Easy. Go to the pub on a Friday night, have a skin full, then stay up taking pics until 5am :)

Thanks everyone.

Bachs! The original was a bit dark so I duplicated the layer and set the blending mode on the top layer to Screen. Then I applied a layer mask and selectively masked the areas that were too bright. Finally, I took the opacity down on the Screen layer (15% I think). It helped to add extra light to the pier :)
