View Full Version : Linnet
One gets so overjoyed at seeing a bird which you havent photographed before... that any lack of quality seems to get overlooked. If these were landscapes of this quality I would not have posted them.........but hey...its a cock linnet for goodness sake, out in the wild, on some heathland! :D

Lovely birds, especially the males. 2nd shot is very natural and eye-pleasing to me... maybe you'd calmed down by then ;)
cheers,
Andy
A rare capture! Beautiful birds indeed.
Yeah we don't see too many of them here compared to when I was a kid. Oh the good old days :'(

Good shots Janice.
I've just been looking through my field guide :geek: ;) thinking of all the birds I'd like to take photos of, or seen through the binoculars but not had the time (or lens) to get a shot :'( .
Oh well....back to the blue tits for me then...
Rich
very nice janice, not a bird man myself(feathered type i mean)so i have no idea what sort of bird it was without you telling me

Shouldn't go complaining about those shots Janice !
Very good captures and nice to see ! TFS ...
Beautiful shots as usual and not so easy in the wild - I shall have to go wandering and borrow a dog!
I would do without the dog, Fangman. Mine is the best birdscarer in the business....crashing through the bushes, by the time I reach where he has been, all the birds are in Norway!! :D
Very nicely caugth Janice ! :) have never seen one in the wild or captive !
Follow it to Norway Janice, I believe its very nice there. :D
I nearly had some piccies of these last year, but every time i went to press the shutter, they'd fly off.
Well done
