I know there's a smattering of musos on this forum...
Check out this guy Bill Clements from Michegan who plays jazz bass with one hand.

Of course I've been doing it for years, playing with one hand and downing pints with the other.

Wow

How's he got the bass still sounding, got a sustainer built in or something? (Not a musical person here)

No...all hand technique.
Derived from a bass technique called two handed tapping achieved by the percussive hitting of the strings with the fingers, only he is doing one handed tapping!

He's one determined cookie.
It reminds me of a sketch from Monty Pythons Holy Grail where the knight systematically gets all his limbs chopped off and shouts after his opponent..'come back here..I'll bite your bloody legs off.

I guess there would be no stopping this guy either.
I know how tiring that technique is to keep up and he must have really hurt at the end of that video

Very nice!

Thought it'd be something along the line of a sustainer, had a play with a guitar which had a fernandes sustainer in it the other day, really nice to use :D

I can play trumpet with no hands.
