Hi,

Just a quick post. I am brand new to photography and Dslr. I finally took the plunge and bought a Nikon D50 after reading for months about so many different camera's. At the same time I bought the Sigma 70-300 F4-5.6 APO DG and have had some great fun with it.

My only other purchase at the moment is going to be a tripod. I dare not spend anymore :nono:

Looking forward to learning alot from everybody and getting some good advice.

Regards,

BobR

Not unless it's a special request of course :p

Welcome to the forums Bob, I've answered your workflow thread

Pull up a chair and rest your surfy legs, and have yourself a virtual cup of tea.
Welcome to our internet home :)

Hi and welcome. I was in exactly the same position as you a couple of years back (except I bought a D70 as the D50 wasn't out then) - nothing like throwing yourself in at the deep end is there?
You've found the right place - lots of friendly advice here, and no question is ever stupid. Just be prepared for a very steep learning curve

Hi and welcome. I was in exactly the same position as you a couple of years back :

If you look at Minimese's work you will see that talent matters and not experience and gear! This is the place to share - learn and enjoy!

Hope you have half the welcome and fun that I have here.
