Lovely work Sean.

Two things:

One,I love the irony of the girl reading the black and white book in the black and white shots :)

and

Two, what lens do you shoot with, that PQ is outstanding?

Diego.

That's my partner flicking through a book of images by Robert Doisneau which i'd just bought (for £.4.50!!)

I'm not really one for talking about gear Diego, but the lenses were my 35mm F/1.4 and 135/f2.0

Cheers

Nice set as always Sean.

The compositions caught my eye more than the subjects in some of them. I've only got one 'normal' prime and it forces you to think more about what goes into the shot. Your shots are a good lesson :)

But i still like zoom lenses ;)

Edit:

just noticed the picture in the book and the second last of your shots :D

last 2 are very good Sean, but the whole set is very pleasing

Thanks lads

As you know Robert i only have primes, i'm not against zooms. I just enjoy using primes. Yeah it's a little spooky the shot matching the image in the book (a least a little)

Number 2 and the last 2 for me. Especially the man in the shop doorway, brilliantly well seen!

I really like the B&W shots of your girlfriend (wish I could get my B&W to look like that).
The mannequin shots really appeal to me too but, if I had to narrow it down it would be no.2 & the last shot!

The last two for me. Each shot tells a story.

Hey Sean, great work again as allways

The 3rd and the last stand out just a bit more than the others for me... the lighting on your better half in the 3rd is excellent, and the composition along with the moment you caught in the last really made a great shot, TFS.
