Never seen so many in one go, really beautiful. I like this shot because they become more impressionistic as the dof diminishes. I have more shots where single flowers have more prominence which i'm yet to finish. But i like the sea of red

I haven't seen one single poppy down here this year yet

I saw what looked like a great field on Friday near here. Not much in the way of background but fabulous colours with other wild flowers in too.

Hoping to make a little time to get up there in the next few days. If you're wanting to shoot some it's on the A4 just before you'd come to Calne, at Derry hill.




..........Which brings me finally to the point. That's a really lovely shot, just has something different from all the rest that is especially appealing.

I'll be very happy if I get anything even in the ball park with that one. :clap:
