A Day in Brighton (mono)

Here's a few from a day I spent in Brighton back in May:

#1 Not too sure whether I like this one or not, but I thought I'd get other peoples' opinions. I was just trying out different angles:

#2 Again, different angles, but this is probably my favourite of the 3 shots. Can't say why, i just like it!

In order of preferance 2,1,3 :)

In Number 2 I like the way the railing draws my eye into the picture. The other thing that makes it for me (and it might sound silly) is the heavy border you have framed the pictures in.

Nice set there Mini, if I had to choose a fave Id say no.2 :thumbs:
I really like no.1 but like you Im not too sure of the angle.
Personally, Id have preferred it had it not been such a sharp diagonal, though I do like where you were going with the idea.

As Stev said DoF is a little too short in 2, 3 is a good composition but perhaps needs a tad more contrast ... imo and 1 does for my eyes I'm afraid ... weird angle ...
