Seeing as we have changed the focus of this area:

I was looking at some threads about Camera Clubs and came across a Lighthouse Photo Comp

The 12 winning photos will be published in the 2008 lighthouse calendar.

Entrants are asked to submit pictures of any of the 71 lighthouses operated by Trinity House. The competition will run until 31 January 2007 giving participants the best opportunity to photograph the lighthouses in all weathers.

is there a list anywhere of the 71 lighthouses they run, not going near the coast this year, but if there's one not to far away, i may visit.

At the end of the rules and entry form is a map of England and Wales with the lighthouses on.

Are Scottish lighthouses not looked after by Trinity House? - anyone know

Only 2 in North Cumbria - ones out near you Whitewash.
