Wireless flash

Just out of intrest, are you able to use two diffrent makes fo flash through wireless? e.g Sigma 500dg super & Canon 580ex


Ever since I got a shot of some wireless flashes I'm toying with the idea for getting my own :)

There's no reason why they shouldn't, as they use an infrared beam for the trigger.
