I was at work at the weekend so could'nt really get out anywhere, so decided to try a few shots with the macro. I've done a few of insects before, but at least plants usually stay where you want them

The water droplet in the first shot looks like a huge diamond
I like the simplicity of the leafy things (?) in shot 3 - that's my favourite :)

Good work Rick, good focus on all. I like number two most, interesting angles and great dof effect.
Number two for me, great shot, loads of interest in it. :)

Thanks everyone  . I like the first two best myself.
I suppose thats whats interesting about macro stuff - it makes you see seemingly mundane things in a different way  - I can't even look at a bowl of cornflakes now without thinking "uummm, I wonder what that'd look like through the macro?"

I really like the first two, especially the second actually, which shows so much detail, right down to the hairs on the leaf...
Those violas are so pretty, always remind me of a smiling face for some reason ;)

that first one is so nice and crisp with great dof.
The water droplet in the first shot looks like a huge diamond
