Tis good, graffiti is just art where it's not wanted. Weeds are just plants where they're not wanted.

Good capture.

In bristol there is a bit of a hoo-haa at the moment as a prominent graffiti artist has left rather an ironic piece of art on the side of a Brook Health Advisory clinic (sexual health) Big ebate at the moment as to whether or not it should be cleaned off. I would imagine the spanish are a bit more relaxed about this sort of stuff?

Thanks....around that area there seems to be a great amount of it...going to go walkabout one day....with camera of course. There is a skateboard area and then on to river walk, lots of "art" work there. They dont seem to feel the need to clean it all off.

nice shot.

agreed with gandhi, graffiti can be as much art as any other form painting. it's just that people judge it by the weaker 'artists' (read kids with markers) works rather than those like the above. :)

I like that. It doesn't seem offensive when it's artistic like that... if that makes any sense!

found on a bridge support on granville island, vancouver

i presume it was commisioned because all the supports are graffiti'd and they all look to be art rather than just scrawl.
