Alamy Stock image library is introducing online uploads for its contributors later in the year.
This will make the whole process a lot quicker for contributors to get there submissions on the system.
The new upload system will only accept JPG's, so saving your 48mb+ tiffs as a JPG will reduce the file size to around 5-12mb.
More infromation on the subject can be found here (http://www.alamy.com/contributors/source/070806/news.asp)

Is it time you signed up to an image library?

Judging by the standards of photos seen on this forum, I think its time you did.
Its getting more difficult to be accepted by decent libraries, as the larger players are taking over the small ones, and closing the doors to new contributors.
Don't waste any time thinking about it, the longer you leave it the longer it takes for you to get something back from your hobby.

Good news for me. Anything that speeds up their processing. :)
