Ok. Are there any advantages one over the other? My first lens was a push-pull 1-ring and I actually liked it, but a 2-ring wouldn't bother me either...

A one ring is where the focus and zoom are both done with one ring. The two ring has two seperate rings, one for focus and one for zoom. :D

I have the 2 ring version and love it, can't say much about the 1 ring as i have never used one.
