ive just noticed that the contact prints from the 2 films i have recieved through colab have been printed out through a program called CDi workflow, does this mean the company already have them retained on computer?
this could be the solution to my scanning probs if anyone knows the answer
jamie
It may well do, but they sure as hell aint gonna give them to you unless you pay for it.
They're probably also very low resolution scans.

as long as they're good enough for webuse im happy, as i have the negs if i want any repros made :)
Well they do offer a scanning service - like most labs these days - but it's not cheap at nearly £9 for a CD of low res scans.
Therefore, you're [IMO] best off getting your own scanner. Even if you only want low res stuff, just get a flatbed scanner. They aren't going to blow your socks off, and are certainly no good for reprints - but they're quite usable, and very easy on the wallet.
