I was going to try again tonight with the 2x converter on but cloud and rain put a stop to that.

The moon is brighter than you think. This one was 125th. at f5.6 hand held at 400mm. The spot metering nailed the exposure first time. If I'd have had to guess I'd have been miles out. Can't remember the ISO for sure.... probably 400.

WOW! Tommy, nice shot! I had the idea as well yesterday while I was driving home. Unfortunately, I was too lazy when I got home. :D Anyway, I only have the 18-55 kit lens with the 350D, doubt I'll get a good zoom! Obviously I need to live closer to the moon. ;)
